About SCCC

The Shasta County Coordination Committee was formed in 2011 for the purpose of assisting local Shasta County agencies wishing to invoke the coordination process.  Coordination is a federally mandated process that enables government-to-government negotiations over regulations impacting the local economy, land use, air quality, water, and health and safety issues.

The committee is composed of concerned citizens and subject matter experts and must be residents of the county.
